We would love to have more volunteers to enable us to open our lovely garden more often and to help us make the garden more beautiful and productive. Volunteers don’t need any gardening skills – you’ll learn those on the job. So, come along, give us a try and perhaps you’ll like it so much that you’ll become a regular part of our team. Or, just come and watch the birds, eat some fruit or plant some seeds. You will get a warm welcome whether you come to work, to play, to sit for a while and regenerate your batteries or to buy some produce.
As everyone now knows, being outdoors in a quiet space for even just a few minutes, helps our mental health. So, do come in whenever the gate is open and re-boot your batteries.
Bring your children or grandchildren along during the holidays. There are always masses of exciting things to do from pond dipping, bird watching, planting seeds, picking fruit and vegetables to reading a book or just enjoying being outside with nature.
