The garden is now feeling very wintery, but beautiful. We are trying to remain open on Wednesday mornings, but are having a break over the Christmas and New Year.
It has been a wonderful year for the garden. The addition of the fruit cage has shown us how much birds eat when they can get to the fruit. So, we’ve been able to share much more produce at the garden gate. This gives us a small income to keep the garden going.
The evening use of the garden by the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers has made the garden feel so much more vibrant. They have helped maintain the beds whilst working towards their badges, so a win-win arrangement all round.
Open Days have been very successful, with many more new faces.
So, we are all looking forward to 2018. We will be having our AGM on Wednesday 24 January at 10.00am at Hartrigg Oaks. Everyone is welcome, but we would be grateful if you would let us know by email if you will be attending – firstname.lastname@example.org
